Chromosomes

Chromosomes are located in both plant and animals cells, they are in the nucleus. They have thread like structures, that consist of a single molecule of DNA. The one single molecule in each chromosomes consist of many different genes. The function of the chromosomes are to carry portions of heredity information for an organism.

Chromatin which are also found in the nucleus of both plant and animal cells. Chromatin are nuclear chromosomes that are put in a structure by proteins. The purpose of the chromatin is to allow long DNA molecules to squeeze into the nucleus.
Chromatin and Chromosomes both work well with the nucleus to help it perform the job it is supposed to perform.
